The pardoning of Michael Flynn by President Trump creates an unintended consequence.

If Michael Flynn is ever called to testify on what happened during his time in the Trump administration, he can't plead the Fifth - legally he can't incriminate himself since he's been pardoned for whatever he did or didn't do.

Further, if he were to refuse to testify, he could be held in contempt and potentially jailed.The pardon only applies retrospectively.
